Membership Structure
MALCOM platform classifies users under a multi-layered membership structure according to their contractual relationships, operational roles, and usage scope with the platform.
Main Membership Tiers:
MM - Malcom Member: All individual & corporate users who have completed portal registration but have not yet transacted (onboarding stage)
MM-O - Owner Member: Members who own containers through Sale & Leaseback (Asset owner)
MM-L - Leasing Member: Logistics companies and operations-focused users leasing equipment from MALCOM (Leasing customer)
MM-P - Partner Member: Depot, M&R, survey, rehab, and logistics network business partners (Operations partner)

Logistics and operations companies leasing equipment from MALCOM.
• Lease reservation
• On-hire / off-hire summaries
• M&R approval workflow
• Route and depot selection
MM-P — Partner Member (Operations Partner)
Operations partners providing services in depot, M&R, survey, and logistics network scope.
• Work order management
• Repair quote creation
• SLA performance scoring

Visibility & Access Control Model
MALCOM applies a three-level (L-1, L-2, L-3) visibility and access model for members.
L-1 Level:
• Account Information, Member No, Membership Tier
• Contract Summary, Payment Schedule
• Asset List (own equipment), Container Type, BIC/ISO Code
L-2 Level:
• All L-1 permissions +
• Asset Status (Active/Idle/Under M&R)
• Utilization Indicator
• ESG Summary
L-3 Level:
• All L-1 + L-2 permissions +
• Movement / Location Tracking
• On-Hire / Off-Hire Records
• M&R Workflow (detailed)
• EIR Records
• ESG Report (PDF)

Onboarding & KYC
Access to the MALCOM platform and membership activation is subject to completion of mandatory Onboarding and KYC processes.
Scope:
• Verification of identity and/or company registration documents
• Authorized signatories and UBO identification
• AML, sanctions, and adverse media checks
• Confirmation of contract type and membership level
Activation Principle:
• No membership level becomes active without completing KYC
• Portal access is opened gradually
• MALCOM may request additional information based on risk assessment

Exit Logic
Membership exit or termination of contractual relationship:
• Contract term expiration
• Buyback, assignment, or contract-based transfer
• Physical delivery or operational closure
• Contract-based early termination
Exit processes are conducted within the framework of relevant contract provisions, operational eligibility criteria, and audit integrity.
Records are preserved within the scope of legal retention obligations even after membership ends.

Data Privacy
MALCOM processes all membership and operation data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

• Data access is role and authority-based
• Data transfer to third parties is only done within contractual framework

ESG and impact indicators presented on the platform are non-financial, indicative, and for informational purposes.
No Direct Third-Party Interaction:
Members and partners do not initiate direct commercial transactions with each other. All operational requests are conducted under MALCOM coordination.
